Google Home Automation — Let’s Get Spooky

It’s alive. I wanted a Halloween light show that could spook people using Google Home scenes and routines.

Notes:

• All lights should already be in the Google Home ecosystem.
• Create a “Spooky” scene (colors/brightness you like), then a routine that activates it.
• Optional: include sound effects on a Nest speaker for extra drama.

• Smart bulbs (Hue, Wiz, Kasa, etc.)
• Google Home app
• Philips Hue Bridge (if you’re using Hue)

💡 Code

No code required — set up a Google Home scene and a routine that triggers it with a phrase (e.g., "Hey Google, let's get spooky").

🔍 How It Works

After your lights are added in Google Home, build a scene with spooky colors and dim levels. Then make a routine that runs that scene when you say your trigger phrase. Google Home updates the bulbs simultaneously for instant haunted vibes.
